In 500 BCE Siddhartha Gautama witch became the Buddha founded Buddhism Buddhism reached China by the silk road and other trading routes it came at the time of the Han Dynasty. When it reached China the emperor had a dream with Buddha in it and sent out two officials to go to India they reached two monks that carried Buddhas picture and some scrolls they invited them back to the capital and introduced him to the emperor the emperor said that that's the person from his dream and then had the monks translate the scrolls. Buddhism became very popular in China and many people started making art and temples associated with it.
Zheng He was a boy that got taken from his village as a gift to the Palace and he was casterated when he grew up during the Ming Dynasty he became admiral of the biggest fleet of ships that existed at the time in the whole world he made seven voyages between 1405 to 1433 then the chines emporer ordered all the ships to be destroyed and all the infomation about the voyeges to be burned.However Zheng He went all over the world even to Mecca and the middle east he has been to thertyseven country and even to africa.
Also known as Song Dynasty this Dynasty was divided into north and south during this time the economy and cultural things grew and so did the population also confucionsim started to take place the founder of the Sung dynasty was Zhao Kuangyin who had a lot military power tword the end of the Zhou dynasty. During the Sung dynasty people made advancments with iron and steel and new kind of bridges and waterways also bombs and gunpowder was used during this dynasty.They were very busy with the economy.But also northern Sung dynasty got taken by Jin Dynasty.
The Han dynasty lasted from 206B.C. to 220A.D. this dynasty started when the people of China rebelled agenst the oppressive ruler. But during the Han dynasty China had a great economy and made many cultural progress Changan was the capital of the western Han dynasty and it was only rivaled with Rome as one of the best cities at that time. Also they expanded china into parts of Vietnam and central Asia Liu Bang or later named Gao Zu during this emperors rule the population and the economy grew the next emperor was Wudi also Taoism was brought into being during the Han dynasty.
China was unified by the Qin dynasty under the rule of Shi Huangdi the Qin dynasty lasted from 221 to 206 B.C. once they have beat all other provinces he made a legalist form of government that means if you do bad things you will get severely punished if you do good things you will be rewarded Shi Huangdi divided china into 36 districts and sent out government officials to govern them. People did not like Shi Huangdi because the thing he was building were very expensive and cost a lot of taxes and he over worked many people he also banned books that talked about other forms of government. This lasted until the Han dynasty came to power.
Confucis was born around 551 B.C. he was born in a bad time were there was alot of bloodshed and war he saw many bad things his dad died when he was young so he had to live with only his mom when he grew up he made a pholosophy called confucinism witch consists of Te,Li,Wen,Chuntzu and Jen he traveld to many importent people to try to convince them to confucinism many people dint want to because it gave the poeple alot of power and it says that the poeple can give the leader the mandate of heaven and they can take it away if the leader is bad confucius became a wondering teacher and no one wanted to follow his ways so he died many years later china adopted his teachings and it dominated chines society and intelactual development for twentythree centures. Confusinim also wants you to have good relationships with your family.
This wall is built in northern China and was built for defensive purposes it is built along mountains and is stretches out for miles it was started being built in the Zhou Dynasty and got even longer after a state named Qin built more on to it during the Qin Dynasty and then finally was finished in the Ming Dynasty and it now stretches from the Gansu Province in the west to the Liaoning Province in the east.Many workers were needed to complete the great wall and many of the workers died from working to hard if they complained or did not work thgey would be killed they died from starvation and disease even chirdren were forced to work. also the great wall wasent always this big there were many smaller walls but now they got connected and made the great wall. 
Taoism and Confucianism is one of the two main religious or philosophical systems in china some of Taoisms impotent texts are the Tao-te ching, Daode Jing and Zhuangzi. The founder of Taoism is Lao Zi. Taoism emphasizes orthopraxy witch is write action over orthodoxy witch is right belief. Taoism simply means "The Way". It was founded around 400 B.C. and has been around for some 2000 years. This religion mainly consists around goodness like Confucianism. But there is also the belief of Ying and Yang witch is the balance between good and bad theres a strong belief in nature as well.
